In Home Caregiver

Overview

A welcoming Oconto County family is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregiver to provide in‑home support for a vibrant young woman living with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP). This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact through both personal care and companionship in a comfortable home setting.

Position Overview

The caregiver will assist with daily routines, promote safety, and help create an engaging, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to providing high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

• Support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and diaper changes
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Perform G‑Tube feeding following established procedures
• Provide companionship, social interaction, and meaningful engagement to enhance overall well‑being

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Xeroderma Pigmentosum is helpful but not required
• Ability to perform personal care tasks with professionalism and respect
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills and a genuinely caring, supportive attitude

Compensation & Schedule

• $16.32 per hour
• One day per week, including weekend availability
• Additional respite care opportunities
• Flexible scheduling
