As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, dependable support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. You’ll assist with personal care, daily routines, meals, and mobility while following care plans and protecting each client’s privacy and rights. Your impact: Attentive care and clear communication help clients maintain dignity and support families’ peace of mind.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals, perform light cleaning, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Support safe transfers and mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as a Hoyer lift when trained.
• Observe and monitor clients, report changes, and follow care plans, including medication administration when authorized.
• Respect client choice, resident rights, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy requirements; respond appropriately to emergencies.

Experience

• Caregiving, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is relevant; group home, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Experience supporting older adults or people with disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, or other neurodevelopmental disorders is valued.
• Familiarity with senior care, geriatrics, hospice care, dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care is helpful.
• Patient care skills may include patient observation, monitoring, vital signs, direct support, nursing, and safe patient transfer methods.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge is preferred. Cooking, meal preparation, and the ability to perform required lifting and physical tasks are also useful.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
