Morning case

As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide respectful, attentive care in clients’ homes and communities. You’ll support daily routines, follow care plans, and communicate changes in a client’s condition to the appropriate care team. Your impact: Consistent personal care and observation help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while giving families greater confidence in their loved one’s daily support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, safe transfers, and manual handling; use a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Prepare meals, cook, clean, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Observe and monitor clients, including vital signs when required; report concerns and document care according to care plans.
• Support medication administration only as authorized and trained; follow privacy requirements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and uphold residents’ rights.
• Provide compassionate support for senior care, geriatrics, dementia, Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice, and clients with autism, developmental, intellectual, or other disabilities, as applicable to the care plan.

Qualifications

• Patient care, caregiving, direct support, client communication, and patient personal care assistance skills.
• Experience in home care, home health, home and community care, assisted living, group homes, nursing homes, or long-term care is valuable.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental disabilities, or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is preferred; follow applicable care and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform required heavy lifting and patient transfers safely. Nursing experience, medication administration, and training in first aid and CPR are helpful.

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
