Job Summary

MORNING ONLY

As an In Home Caregiver, you’ll provide attentive, respectful care in clients’ homes and communities. You’ll support daily routines, prepare meals, assist with personal care, and observe changes in well-being. Your work helps people maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, mobility, transfers, and safe manual handling; use a Hoyer lift when trained and appropriate.
• Follow care plans, support medication administration as authorized, monitor clients, and report changes, including vital signs when assigned.
• Prepare meals, complete light cleaning, and provide personal transportation assistance as assigned.
• Communicate respectfully with clients and families while protecting privacy, confidentiality, and residents’ rights under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Requirements

• Caregiving, patient care, home care, home health, or home and community care experience is valuable; experience in senior care, geriatrics, assisted living, group homes, nursing homes, or long-term care is a plus.
• Experience supporting people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, memory care needs, autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other disabilities is welcome.
• Knowledge of patient observation, monitoring, transfer methods, direct support, nursing, hospice care, and patient personal care assistance is helpful.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills are preferred. Ability to perform assigned duties safely, including lifting, is important.

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 16.0 per week
