Home Helpers Home Care of Durham & Chapel Hill is a growing home care agency hiring dependable caregivers in Chapel Hill, NC. We are seeking reliable caregivers who love what they do. We are also seeking caregivers for our Durham, NW Raleigh, and Chapel Hill locations.

What you’ll do

• Keep clients company and help them stay active and engaged
• Help plan and prepare meals
• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help clients move around safely, including standing, walking, and transfers
• Remind clients to take their medications
• Do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands
• Write up your visits and tell us about any changes in how a client is doing

What you bring

• A reliable car, valid driver’s license, and current insurance
• A readiness for learning new caregiver skills
• Comfort using a smartphone to log your visits
• A flexible schedule and a commitment to show up when you say you will
• Willingness to pass a background check

Experience

Caregiving experience is great, whether it’s paid work or caring for a family member. CNA or HHA certification and CPR/first aid are a plus, but not required. If you’re new and have the right attitude, we’ll train you.
