Responsibilities & skills

• Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engaging activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean-living environment.
• Assist with medication reminders (no medication administration unless permitted by state regulations and company policy).
• Escort or transport clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, errands, and social activities.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and fall prevention using proper safety techniques.
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the care coordinator or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate daily care notes and documentation.
• Follow each client's individualized care plan while respecting privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable state regulations.
• Compassionate communication skills for working effectively with clients and their families while demonstrating patience and empathy.

Pay: $22.50 per hour
