Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications including oral, topical, and insulin injections.
• Monitor and record vital signs using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems.
• Housekeeping, laundry and keeping the home clean for our residents.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans and update medical records using EHR systems.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and toileting.
• Recognize signs of medical emergencies or changes in condition
• Follow infection control procedures diligently and ensure a safe environment for residents with complex health conditions.
• Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and their families while respecting their dignity and preferences.

Experience

• This job requires a background check.
• Experience working with individuals with a diverse background including mental health and/or developmental disabilities is advantageous but not required.
• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
