Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Live-In Caregiver/Companion to assist an elderly woman who experiences anxiety and benefits from a calm, reassuring presence.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys caring for others and is looking for a stable live-in opportunity in a comfortable home environment in Las Palmas, Salinas.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight supervision (approximately 12-hour night shift)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Help maintain a calm and reassuring environment
• Drive to medical appointments, errands, and outings
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with medication reminders
• Communicate any concerns regarding health or safety

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, CNA, home care, or companion experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Non-smoker preferred

Schedule

• Live-in position
• Approximately 12-hour overnight supervision, a day care giver is present most days.
