Live-In Caregiver (FREE live in housing, plus paid care hours)

Job Overview

Private family near St. Paul, MN seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide care for an individual with developmental disabilities. We are looking to fill gaps in the current schedule we have. This is a friendly, warm working environment. We are seeking individuals that have a caring attitude. Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
• Provide attentive supervision and patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Maintain detailed medical documentation to ensure accurate records of care provided.
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to promote a safe living environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical documentation..
• Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professional boundaries and compassion.
• Strong skills in patient observation and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with healthcare teams and family members.
