Live-In Caregiver

Overview

Heart to Heart In-Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to join our team in the San Jose area.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in providing quality care, values building meaningful relationships with clients, and can maintain a consistent weekly schedule.

This position involves staying in a client’s private residence from Thursday morning through Monday morning, with overnight accommodations provided.

This is not an overnight working shift.

The caregiver is relieved of care responsibilities during designated overnight hours and is not expected to provide overnight assistance. As a Live-In Caregiver, you’ll provide attentive, respectful support in the client’s home.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and grooming as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal routines.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a comfortable living environment.
• Assist with mobility and daily routines as appropriate.
• Provide medication reminders according to the client’s care plan.
• Monitor the client’s general well-being and communicate concerns to management.
• Maintain professional, respectful communication with the client and family.
