Live-In Night Caregiver (Private Apartment)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in caregiver to provide overnight support in our small, home-like senior care setting. Our home offers a warm, family-style environment.

Duties

• Providing overnight supervision and support for residents
• Assisting with occasional toileting needs
• Gentle redirection and reassurance as needed
• Minimal medication assistance
• Light cleaning or tidying
• Minimal, occasional laundry

Requirements

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing home environments, or working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism is advantageous.
• Ability to assist with lifting, if needed
• Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior.
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents and staff
