Duties

• Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Administer medications as prescribed, maintain detailed care plans, and ensure compliance with all healthcare protocols including CPR and first aid procedures
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Perform thorough housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living spaces, laundry, organizing personal belongings, and maintaining a hygienic environment
• Support individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), autism or other special needs through engaging activities and emotional support
• Use assistive devices like resident lifts or Hoyer lifts safely to facilitate mobility and prevent injury during transfers or repositioning
