We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Office Assistant/CNA to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and verifying insurance information.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, document proper insurance, and collect copays.
• Measure and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, wound care, and basic life support in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR systems), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with diagnostic procedures such as X-ray or laboratory tests when necessary.
• Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling documentation related to ICD coding and medical billing.

Requirements

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or MOA.
• Prior experience working in Family Medicine preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical coding practices including ICD coding for diagnoses.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments.
