Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Memory Care Caregiver, providing compassionate, person-centered support to residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory impairments. This part-time role offers opportunities to work AM shifts, ensuring our residents receive the highest-quality of care in a warm and engaging environment. Duties

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and maintain detailed medication records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Provide engaging social interaction and companionship to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Implement behavior management techniques tailored to residents with dementia or developmental disabilities to reduce agitation and enhance comfort
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Support residents during outings or community activities, including safe transportation when required

Skills

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or personal care homes working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care best practices
• Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for residents
