North Dallas Dayshift Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated female caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of daily living assistance for Day Shift 7am-7pm. The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This position is based in North Dallas and involves working closely with one client in a home setting.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 7AM–7PM
• Pay: $15.50–$16.50/hour (based on experience), paid weekly
• Location: North Dallas

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide personal care and emotional support
• Use an electric Hoyer lift for safe client transfers
• Redirect and calmly manage behaviors if client becomes combative
• Follow a specific care plan and daily routine consistently
• Write detailed care notes after each shift (required)
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform light housekeeping
• Engage client in social activities to support emotional well-being

Requirements

• Female caregivers only (client preference)
• Previous caregiving or home health experience required
• MUST have experience with an electric Hoyer lift
• Ability to redirect and de-escalate combative behaviors
• Comfortable writing accurate and detailed care notes
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Experience & Skills

• Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related fields (long-term care, hospice, disability support)
• Familiarity with patient observation and basic health monitoring
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• A compassionate approach that promotes dignity and respect

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
