Part-Time Caregiver- DEER LODGE / ANACONDA

Job Overview

As a part-time caregiver serving Deer Lodge and Anaconda, you’ll provide attentive, respectful support to people in home and community settings. You’ll help clients with daily routines, personal care, meals, and safe movement while honoring their preferences and rights. This role may involve supporting older adults and individuals with developmental, cognitive, or other disabilities.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal preparation, and household cleaning.
• Support safe transfers and mobility using proper manual handling and patient-lifting practices; use a Hoyer lift when appropriate.
• Observe and report changes in well-being, including vital signs when assigned; follow care plans for medication administration and behavior support.
• Communicate clearly with clients and care teams, document services when appropriate and uphold residents’ rights.
• Provide direct support and transportation as needed, following safe standard passenger car operation practices.

Skills

• Caregiving, client communication, and experience assisting people with disabilities; senior care or geriatrics experience is useful.
• Relevant experience may include home and community care, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, long-term care, residential care homes, personal care homes, retirement homes, or group homes.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory care and developmental or cognitive disabilities is valued.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge, medication administration, vital signs, EMR systems, and behavior management are helpful.
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting safely; experience with safe patient lifting practices and Hoyer lifts is preferred.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
