PCA, CNA Assisted Living/Group Home for IDD Men

Big Lake Country Club is seeking caring and motivated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team at our all-male assisted living facility in Houston, Alaska. Our homes are located on a peaceful, wooded property that offers the benefits of a rural lifestyle while providing a supportive and structured environment for our residents.

Our goal is to help each individual build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections within the community. We provide 24-hour staffing and supervision while assisting residents with daily living, social, and adaptive skills.

What You'll Do

As a PCA, you will support residents with

• Personal hygiene and other activities of daily living
• Laundry, housekeeping, and maintaining a comfortable living environment
• Exercise, recreation, and community outings
• Building independent living and social skills
• Routine safety and wellness checks
• Preparing for scheduled activities and appointments
• Completing progress notes and required documentation
• Assisting with other day-to-day needs within the home

This position is about more than completing daily tasks. We are looking for individuals who can build positive relationships, encourage independence, and help our residents enjoy active and fulfilling lives.

Available Shifts

• Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Swing: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Night: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions are available.
