Personal Care Aide

Responsibilities

* Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting * Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in home or facility settings * Help with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and monitoring dietary needs * Support clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise or physical therapy routines * Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces * Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors * Assist with medication reminders and maintain accurate care documentation

Requirements

* Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide, CNA, Home Health Aide, or caregiver preferred * Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care * Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and supporting mobility * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Americus, GA area * High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
