Personal Care Aide

Overview

Kupuna Care Hawaiʻi is a family-owned and operated business that is committed to providing quality, compassionate care to O‘ahu's aging community.

We are currently hiring full-time and part-time caregivers who will be responsible for providing compassionate, non-medical services to individuals in their homes to ensure their comfort and safety while they age-in-place. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, skincare, oral care, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, positioning, and prescribed exercises or range-of-motion activities.
• Perform light housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, changing linens, dishwashing, and bathroom cleaning.
• Shop for groceries, household supplies, and personal essentials
• Prepare meals according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
• Escort clients to medical appointments and recreational other necessary activities.
• Provide reminders for oral medications
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment while respecting clients’ dignity, privacy, and independence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months of relevant work experience
• Current CPR/First Aid training certification
• CNA/NA certification
• A 2-step TB and annual TB clearance
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation (ability to drive preferred but not required)
• Have a smartphone
• Ability to pass background check

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
