Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking to meet dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices
• Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident’s safety equipment to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges
• Document patient observations, care activities, and incident reports accurately and promptly

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home & community care, or group homes is highly desirable
• Familiarity with dementia, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism enhances your ability to provide specialized support
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement is essential
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate supportive equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
• Previous roles involving patient observation, social work principles, or long-term care contribute to success in this position

Schedule

Monday- Friday: 6 am-7:45 (or van arrival) and 4 pm-8pm

Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 am- 10:30 am and 3 pm- 7 pm
