Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver for Seniors Overnight Shift

Waypoint Senior Living is seeking Day and Overnight Shift Personal Care Assistants/Caregivers who relish hard work and love the idea of being a dedicated player on a strong team.

Duties of the Caregiver Role at Waypoint include

• Passing medications to residents and properly charting in our eMar system
• Assisting residents with showering and other activities of daily living
• Preparing and serving meals to residents
• Keeping common areas and resident rooms clean and tidy.
• Assisting residents in the event of a medical emergency
• Additional duties as needed

Requirements for a Caregiver Role at Waypoint are

• At least 3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in an Assisted Living, Memory Care or Personal Care Home.
• Experience working with those with Dementia or Alzheimer's
• A pleasant personality and a kind heart
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• A strong track record of attendance and punctuality (references are required and will be checked)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a Fingerprinting Background Check
• CPR Certification (existing certification preferred)
• Negative TB Test Results
• Physician's Statement of Medical Clearance
