Personal Care Attendant / Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant / Caregiver to provide essential support to clients in their homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
• Provide senior care by helping with routine tasks and ensuring safety during daily activities.
• Support clients with personal transportation needs for appointments, errands, or social outings.
• Offer home care services that may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response in emergencies.
• Support clients in maintaining independence while providing necessary assistance for safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving or personal care preferred but not required; training can be provided.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living safely and effectively.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor with a strong commitment to client well-being.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to various client needs within a home setting.
