NOW HIRING: On‑Call Superstar – Merrill Area

Rate of Pay

$17.00 per hour Schedule: On‑call and morning shifts

Community Horizons is assisting a gentleman in Merrill, WI in finding a compassionate, dependable on‑call caregiver to support him with daily living needs, mobility, and household tasks. If you’re caring, reliable, and looking to make a meaningful difference, this role may be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and commode use
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Support mobility needs, including heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 75 lbs)
• Use mobility equipment such as a Hoyer lift or sit‑to‑stand aid
• Maintain a clean, safe home through housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Accompany him to doctor’s appointments with one week’s notice provided

Ideal Candidate Qualities

• Previous caregiving or home‑care experience (preferred)
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and perform heavy lifting
• Compassionate, trustworthy, and dependable
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Hoyer lifts or sit‑to‑stand equipment is a plus

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a background check prior to starting
