We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Caregiver with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) background to join our team in Ottawa, IL. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient observation and document changes in health status accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Administer medications and perform medication documentation following home health regulations and HIPAA guidelines
• Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory care, hospice, and end-of-life care
• Conduct vital signs assessments, catheter care, and assist with medical procedures like Hoyer lift transfers and basic life support when necessary
• Prepare nutritious meals, assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment
• Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with all healthcare standards and privacy laws

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with proven experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or home healthcare settings
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, hospice care, Alzheimer’s/dementia/memory care techniques
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts when required
