Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support health assessments and communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques.
• Support residents’ nutritional needs by preparing meals that meet dietary requirements and assisting during mealtimes to promote independence and safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, sanitation, and adherence to infection control standards.
• Engage residents in social activities and group programs to foster community involvement and enhance quality of life.
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through compassionate communication, social support, and personalized care plans aligned with their preferences.

Experience
