Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support in various aspects of

daily living for individuals in need of assistance. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort,

safety, and well-being of clients in a home care setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong

understanding of resident rights and be skilled in creating and implementing care plans tailored to

individual needs.

Duties

* Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and

medication management.

* Develop and maintain personalized care plans that reflect the client's preferences and

needs.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Ensure compliance with resident rights and promote dignity in all interactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services such as hospice care or

home community care.

* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties as

needed.

* Support clients with special needs, including those with autism, by employing appropriate

communication techniques and strategies.

* Perform CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all

times.

Experience

* Previous experience in assisted living, home care, or hospice care is preferred but not

required.

• Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively.
• Familiarity with creating care plans that address the unique needs of individuals.
• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those with autism or other special

needs, is a plus.• Cooking skills are beneficial for preparing nutritious meals tailored to client preferences.

* A background in social work or related fields can enhance the understanding of client needs

and resources available.
