Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration unless legally authorized)
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands, if requested
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the Nurse Registry
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
• Follow each client's individualized care plan while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate (minimum 40-hour training, if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Level 2 background screening (or ability to obtain one)
• Current TB screening or chest X-ray (per Florida requirements)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual (English/Spanish or Creole) is a plus
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
