Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Caregiver/Group Home Part-Time professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to residents in a group home setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your dedication will help create a positive environment where individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs can flourish through engaging activities, assistance with daily living, and compassionate companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication administration in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and health status regularly to ensure safety and well-being
• Support residents with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia by implementing behavior management techniques and engaging in therapeutic activities
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties within the group home
• Document resident progress, incidents, and care activities thoroughly while adhering to privacy standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred
