AffordCare Home Care is a boutique, family-owned home care agency serving seniors in Tacoma and surrounding Pierce County communities. We are seeking a warm, reliable Caregiver and Companion for one specific client with memory issues. Memory care experience is required. CNA or HCA license required, hands-on experience matters, and we pay accordingly. Memory Care for One Dedicated Client

This position supports one specific client living with memory issues (Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia). We require hands-on memory care experience, whether professional or through caring for a family member. You will provide patient, routine-based support that brings calm, dignity, and meaningful engagement. Memory care experience is required and reflected in your pay rate. This is a dedicated role focused on building trust through consistency.

What You'll Do

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful social engagement tailored to this one client’s personality and preferences
• Support daily routines using patient, routine-based approaches designed for memory care needs
• Assist with light meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation to appointments or errands during scheduled hours
• Accompany the client on walks, outings, or joyful activities within the shift times
