Caregiver/ On Call - (7a-7P)

Overview

As a Caregiver / On Call (7 a.m.–7 p.m.), you’ll provide attentive, respectful support to people who need help with daily living. You’ll respond to care needs during the scheduled on-call window, communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Your impact: By supporting daily routines and personal choices, you help clients maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, and other home care tasks.
• Support clients in senior care, geriatrics, memory care, dementia care, and care for individuals with developmental, cognitive, or other disabilities.
• Use safe patient lifting and manual handling practices; provide direct support and behavior management while respecting residents’ rights.
• Drive a standard passenger car when needed and follow safe practices when transporting clients.

Skills

• 5 years of Caregiving experience is essential; relevant experience may include assisted living, nursing homes, long-term care, home and community care, residential or personal care homes, group homes, retirement homes, or home care.
• Experience assisting with ADLs, senior care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, dementia care, or supporting people with disabilities is valuable.
• Knowledge of vital signs, medication administration, client communication, meal preparation, cleaning, behavior management, and safe lifting practices is helpful.
• First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) are preferred; follow applicable care and safety requirements.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
