Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
• Document care activities accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and report any changes in residents’ conditions promptly

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics is advantageous
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and memory care best practices is essential
