Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
• Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through specialized engagement and behavior management techniques
• Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility
• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and assist residents during mealtimes
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
• Document resident progress, incidents, and care activities using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Drive residents to appointments or community outings as needed, ensuring safety during transportation
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assisted living or long-term care environments preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, geriatrics, and behavioral management techniques
