Caregiver - Weekend Days

We are currently looking for *experienced (at least 1yr)* staff to fill our Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Day Shifts, guaranteed 30 hrs/week with intermittent options to pick up extra hours to cover other shifts.

- Weekend Days: Fri, Sat, Sun 6a-4p (there are options to adjust hours for these shifts, either dropping to 8 hr shift 7a-3p or extending to 12 hr shift 6a-6p).

- Start Date: 24 July, first day of orientation

Position Overview

Daybreak Family Homes is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional residential assisted living care. Our Caregivers play a vital role in creating a warm, supportive, and home-like environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care Assistance: Help residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
• Medication Management: Assist with medication reminders and administration as trained and authorized
• Nutritional Support: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, assist with feeding when needed, and accommodate special dietary requirements
• Companionship & Engagement: Provide emotional support, engage in meaningful conversations, and facilitate social activities and recreational programs
• Household Support: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment through light housekeeping and laundry services
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to supervisors and healthcare professionals
• Safety & Dignity: Ensure resident safety at all times while promoting independence and maintaining dignity and respect
• Transportation: Provide or arrange transportation to medical appointments, social outings, and community activities as needed
