Certified Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in our assisted living facility. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' health or behavior.
• Administer first aid when necessary and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or related fields such as long-term care, memory care, or direct support is preferred.
• Must be certified in Arizona as a Caregiver.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Must have food handler's permit.
• Must have valid fingerprint card.
• Must have current 2-step TB test.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or moving clients.
• Familiarity with caregiving systems and documentation practices is beneficial.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining client dignity.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
