Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) working the 6a to 2p shift, four days on followed by two days off. Duties

• Assist residents and patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans for acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures like catheter care or wound management; ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently.
• Engage in patient service activities that promote comfort and emotional well-being while respecting patient confidentiality and medical documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification with current state licensure required.
• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs monitoring essential for accurate patient care documentation.
