Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have experience working with diverse patient populations. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, personalized care to our residents and patients across various care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
• Support medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff while adhering to HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and respectful environment.
• Assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times.
• Observe residents for changes in health status or behavior, reporting findings promptly to nursing staff for appropriate intervention.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas in compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
