Job Overview

Graceful Care Homes is hiring a reliable and experienced Caregiver to provide direct care and supervision to residents in an adult residential care setting. This role is for someone who is serious, dependable, and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide toileting assistance (including incontinence care and brief changes)
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Support residents with mobility and transfers (may include gait belt use)
• Monitor residents throughout the night and ensure safety
• Perform light housekeeping related to resident care (laundry, tidying, cleaning care areas)
• Document care provided and report any changes in condition
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and professional environment overnight

Requirements

• Experience as a caregiver (facility experience preferred)
• Must be comfortable with hands-on personal care (toileting, bathing, etc.)
• Must be dependable and able to work overnight shifts consistently
• CPR/First Aid preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Must pass background check
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English
• Must be patient, respectful, and professional

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a board & care, assisted living, or group home
• Experience working with behavioral residents or dementia (a plus)
