Responsibilities

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral management
• Perform catheter care, wound care, hospice support, and assist with medical procedures such as Hoyer lift transfers or working with medical equipment like oxygen or ventilators
• Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed and food safety standards are maintained
• Maintain detailed medical documentation and records of patient care activities to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and legal requirements
• Support patients’ emotional well-being through compassionate communication and engagement while respecting their dignity and preferences
