Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
• Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to support accurate patient assessments
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support
• Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care and wound management
• Document patient information accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Assist with transfers and positioning using appropriate equipment to prevent injury and promote comfort
• Support emergency response efforts in acute or trauma situations, including ICU or Level I Trauma Center environments
