• Support medication administration under the supervision of nursing staff, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, utilizing memory care techniques to ensure safety and engagement.
• Use aseptic techniques during procedures such as catheter care or wound management to prevent infection and promote healing.
• Operate equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with patient transfers while maintaining proper manual handling practices.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, contributing to comprehensive patient care plans.
