Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring timely reporting to nursing staff.
• Support medication reminders, following strict protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory care requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
• Support patients in home & community care environments by providing compassionate caregiving tailored to individual needs.

Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques applicable across various healthcare settings.
• Background in geriatrics or long-term care facilities with exposure to dementia and Alzheimer's care is preferred.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health challenges in diverse settings including assisted living or hospice care.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR is required
