Position Summary

Mozaic Senior Life is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide residents with high-quality daily nursing care in accordance with Mozaic Senior Life’s core values and established guidelines, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Schedule & Hours

• Full-Time Opportunities: 30 hours or 37.5 hours per week
• Shifts Available:
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Includes every other weekend

Who Should Apply

• Experienced Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing CNA's
• Certified Nurse Assistant with at least 6 months of experience preferred
• Newly Certified Connecticut CNA's with relevant clinical experience are encouraged to apply (CNA must be posted on CT State registry when applying)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including assistance with daily living activities
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Follow care plans and facility protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

Qualifications

Education

* High School Diploma or GED

Experience

* Minimum of 6 months experience preferred

Licensure

* Active Connecticut CNA Certification required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work with elderly, ill, disabled, and emotionally distressed residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills and ability to use software systems
• Professionalism, patience, and compassion in all interactions
