Certified Nursing Assistant

The Society of the Holy Child Jesus, a congregation of retired religious women, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Holy Child Center.

As a CNA, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care while supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of the Sisters who call Holy Child Center home. If you are passionate about making a meaningful difference through compassionate caregiving, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal care.
• Assist with meals, hydration, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.
• Observe and promptly report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to the nursing team.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other health information as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights while maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect.
• Assist with safe transfers using gait belts, wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility equipment.
• Support Sisters in attending chapel services, community activities, and social gatherings when needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and common areas while following infection control and safety procedures.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while fostering meaningful relationships with the Sisters.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or a healthcare setting preferred.
