CNA (current license req'd) HHA (certification req'd)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to supervising nurse or care coordinator
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Remind clients to take medications as directed (no medication administration unless authorized)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Record care provided and maintain accurate documentation
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active CNA license or HHA certification (Florida)
• Current CPR / BLS certification preferred
• Previous home health, assisted living, or hospital experience preferred
• Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
