Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, ensuring accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration under supervision, adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
• Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, behavioral health issues, or those with developmental disabilities.
• Maintain a safe environment by practicing aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and phlebotomy when applicable.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency medicine, trauma centers (Level I & II), PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or surgical units to deliver comprehensive patient service.
