Job Overview

Starting Pay: $18.50/Hour, Evening and weekend shift differential of .75/hour.

Shifts Available: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM,

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 40 Hour Medication Aid to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Prepare patient rooms, assist with transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods, and ensure safe manual handling practices
• Provide specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or phlebotomy to prevent infections
• Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records and ensure confidentiality at all times

Experience

• Prior experience working as a CNA in long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, or home care environments is highly valued
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (CPR) techniques
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation
• Hands-on experience providing care in acute settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is a plus
• Familiarity with caring for geriatric patients and those requiring hospice or palliative care services
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, seniors, and individuals with disabilities or infectious diseases
• Strong caregiver communication skills coupled with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safe lifting practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
