Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, home care environments, and teaching hospitals. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with daily living activities and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities or requiring specialized care.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide care for patients with specific needs, including catheter care and infectious disease management.
• Support patients in mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately using PCC.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care, home care, or assisted living is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating empathy and patience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required; additional certifications in specialized areas are advantageous.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to patient care and assistive technologies.
