Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with an active CNA license to join our team for the 7 AM to 3 PM or 3 PM to 11 PM shifts. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering exceptional patient care, supporting residents' needs, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts while practicing safe manual handling techniques.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or mental condition promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed for residents with complex needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license is required; must be current and active.
• Prior experience in long-term care facilities or skilled nursing environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory care is desirable.
