Companion Caregiver – Part-Time (Mon/Wed/Fri Mornings)

Our client is a warm, independent woman in Orange who lives with her son and her loyal German Shepherd. She enjoys morning walks, tending her plants, and good company over her favorite TV shows. She is looking for a steady, caring companion she can count on every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, someone to share her day with and get her safely to appointments. Golden Age Companions, a licensed home care organization in Orange County, is looking for a warm, reliable companion caregiver for a senior client in Orange, CA. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (4 hours per visit), with possible additional hours over time. Pay: $20/hour Duties include: - Companionship and conversation - Light housekeeping - Medication reminders - Accompanying the client on short walks and errands - Driving the client to medical appointments Requirements (California Home Care Services rules): - Active registration on the California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registry. We'll help you get it done. - Current negative TB test (within the last 90 days, or we'll help you get one) - Able to pass a Live Scan fingerprint background check - Complete required HCA training (5 hours initial, 5 hours annually), which we provide - Valid California driver's license, current auto insurance, and a reliable car - At least 18 years old with proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. - Caregiving experience preferred, especially with early memory loss - Comfortable around a friendly, well-behaved dog in the home - Dependable, patient, kind, and looking for a long-term client We're a small, caring team that treats caregivers like family.
