Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and documentation procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Monitor vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure clients' health stability
• Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies
• Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling equipment safely to prevent injury
• Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and assist clients during meal times to promote social engagement
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping duties and adherence to infection control protocols

Skills

• Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities in home settings or personal care homes
